Ephesus St. John Tour Itinerary:
- Your tour guide will meet you at your pick-up location. You will be briefed about the tour & town and Ephesus on the way. One of the stops is the Temple of Artemis where you will spend 10 to 15 minutes.
- After you are dropped off at the gate of Ephesus ruins, you will start to explore the Ephesus ruins. Some of the highlights of Ephesus ruins are; the Hadrian Temple, Celsus Library, and Grand Theatre.
- Your driver will pick you up at the lower gate of Ephesus and you will drive to The House of Virgin Mary.
- After visiting The House of the Virgin Mary, you will have a lunch break in a local Turkish restaurant with traditional Turkish food.
- You will visit the Basilica of St. John, a great church in Ephesus. Constructed by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century, it stands over the so-believed burial site of John the Apostle.
- Drive back to the departure location with your guide.
